Reselling Tips for Resellers Part 1
When people hear of marketers, images of photogenic, sharply dressed, smooth talkers with hypnotic voices usually come to mind. While these traits usually help, success in the field of marketing does not solely rely on them.
In fact, with markets becoming more and more competitive and consumers getting more conscious of the money they spend, solid market knowledge and marketing techniques have been steadily taking precedence over sheer physical appeal of products and the people selling them.
Having said that, here’s the first batch of a series of tips that you can use to jumpstart or effectively manage your reselling business:
- Know your product. You may know a lot of people, but if you don’t know anything about your t-shirts, how would you be able to sell them? When you become a talk@tee reseller, we will provide you an overview of our t-shirts and designs after your registration. This way, you’ll know what to say when a customer starts asking questions.
- Know your Market – Learn everything you can about the people you intend to sell your t-shirt products to. What kind of shirts do they want? How much are they willing to spend for a shirt? Covering as many questions as possible will help you get a better understanding of how to improve your products and increase your t-shirt sales.
- Know your competitors – Knowing your product and your target market is not enough. You should know your competitors too. That way, you will be able to assess the strengths and weaknesses of their products and use it to improve your own. Do some research. It’s usually quite easy to get some insights from publicly accessible sources of information such as the internet, advertising materials, magazines, journals, and the likes.
