Talk@tee is nearing its first anniversary, and as a way of celebrating the wonderful year that was made possible by your continuous support, we are welcoming the newest addition to our growing family.
Meet Pepe.
Pepe was a stray dog roaming the streets of Manila until he was rescued by CARA Welfare Philippines — a private and non-profit organization committed to promoting compassion and responsibility for animals. The day he was found, he was an old dog blind on both eyes, had a skin condition, and was walking with a limp after getting hit by a trike; however, that’s probably not going to last for long.
Talk@tee, in coordination with CARA Welfare Philippines, has recently started sponsoring Pepe’s medication and other miscellaneous expenses; and thanks to the dedication of the CARA volunteers, Pepe’s condition has been gradually improving.
The first set of pictures showing the progress of his treatment are actually bound to arrive any time soon, so we’re really excited to know how he looks like now. Of course, we want to keep you updated about his condition too, so make sure you stick around for our next post. Until then, let’s look forward to it together, okay?
